Guidance in your meditation journey

Beginning and maintaining a meditation practice can be challenging, particularly for working parents and people who have a hard time setting aside time for themselves. I offer one-on-one guidance online as well as local group classes in Louisville.

Heart-centered meditation for the helpers

It’s time for a timeout. Learn to pause wherever you are, breathe and reset. Meditation has measurable benefits in the brain and can increase practitioners’ sense of well-being. It can improve our ability to connect with others, and research suggests that it also can help reduce physician burnout. Let’s work together. Experience is the best teacher.

This 4-week course will cover the basic skill of concentration and then move into the heart-centered practices of mindful noting of feelings and generating lovingkindness for ourselves and others. Since we can’t stop the waves, we must learn to surf!

The class will meet Wednesday evenings in May (5/05, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26) at 6:30 pm EST via Zoom.

All medical and mental health professionals, in any capacity, with any level of meditation experience, are welcome.

Cost: Pick your price, based on your means: $120, $90 or $60 for the 4-week series.
